The New Member of Your Family
Many Challenges may confront the mother in the general care of her newborn infant. This is true whether the baby be her first, her second or even her fifth or more. Every newborn, even though most follow a routine pattern, is a distinct individual and will respond in his or individual manner. No hard or fast rules can be set, but certain general instructions may be given to you regarding the infant's card. The following are brief instructions regarding the card of the newborn. They are not meant to give complete and unquestioned information which will solve every problem encountered; however, they deal briefly with most of the common problems.
If you have any questions about your infant child, ask your physician. Information offered or "forced" by neighbors and in-laws is often, but not always, given in good faith. Regardless of motive, it often is misleading. So learn to count either on your own common sense or get assistance from your physician. |
